This was such a sweet and heartwarming Christmas story! A huge snowstorm moves in and strands travelers at Mabel’s home just before Christmas.  It’s been years since Mabel has had anyone with her at the holidays besides her four cats.

The first knock at Mabel’s door is a family with two young girls seeking shelter after their car slides into Mabel’s wall. Their mom is worried about not making it to her parents’ house before Christmas.

The second couple to arrive work together, but seem to have a shared past. Izzy stages homes for a living and Jason is her photographer. It’s obvious that they care for each other – what could be holding them back?

As the snow keeps falling, these strangers share food, drink, secrets and worries. There are some emotional moments and we see them comfort and support each other as they celebrate the holiday.
