Hooking Nash: a Review by Laura
Kennedy Miller moves to New York City for a new job and she catches up (and soon hooks up) with a childhood friend, Nash Reed. He is a star hockey player for the New York Empires and is at the top of his game – and a Times Square billboard.
This is a bit different to a typical hockey romance in that they are both all-in very quickly. The tension comes from how they stay together in a world with lots of travel, lots of time away, and lots of temptation (and trouble) on the road. Nash is a man-toddler who wants all the attention, but isn’t necessarily prepared for the hard times. Kennedy struggles with her new job, his fame, and her own so-called ordinary-ness.
I was barracking for these two, who are great together when they are communicating, but I could also see how immature they are – lots of misunderstandings here! If you like Elle Kennedy and Helena Hunting, this might work for you 💕
Thank you Annica Dahl and Wattpad Book Group for the ARC. Opinions are my own.
